Doug has been offering Crystal Bowl Meditations since 1999 mostly in Spokane WA. Currently, he is living in Bend OR and has just begun exploring the possibilities for the Central Oregon area.
A Chakra-Tuned "Singing" Quartz Crystal Bowl is a bowl precisely manufactured from pure quartz crystal. The bowl is hand-tuned, by an exclusive process, to a note of the diatonic musical scale. When played, the bowl resonates ("sings") its note, opening and balancing the corresponding energy vortex (Chakra) of the body.
Doug usually plays more than one bowl at the same time creating an other worldly resonance complete with sound that pulses and seems to dance around the room and within ones being. The frequency of the bowls entrains with our physical bodies and allows you to 'feel' the essence of being balanced and in tune with your multi-dimensional blueprint of being. The net effect of this can sometimes be felt for the next few days after a session.
While no healing claims are made...some have claimed better sleep for a week, loss of a head ache, even flu symptoms ending. Many have also shared experiencing other worldly visions, past life alignments and a much clearer sense of whatever they have been working with in their lives at the time.

- Special Crystal Bowl Session - Sunday, March 4th. 6:30pm @ The Hawthorn Healing Center this will last one hour (we have the room for 2 hours which includes set up and take down) There are only 15 spots available. This is a special space that I call a sound chamber. The room has a very resonant sound that the bowls love. We will tone, chant, sage, drum and whatever else we come up with. If you have crystals, drums, rattles, Didgeridoo, rain stick, etc that you feel would be compatable. There will also be time for just absorbing the vibrations of the bowls. This a more intimate setup and is By Paid Reservation in advance.

- Monthly Meditations - still finding venues for Bend OR. If you know of great locations with reasonable price rental or percentage sharing, let Doug know. I have been scheduling them on Sunday evenings around 6:30 to 7 pm to start. Each one last about an hour. Usually two per month.
Cost - Meditations are usually $10 / person depending on the venue or by Donation/love offering. Schedule Listed to the Right for Bend OR.

- Private Group Sessions - Usually at a private home (session is 1 hour total). This can be inviting friends over for a more intimate session. Or for a special occaision.
Cost - $75 minimum (regardless of number of attendees under 10 people).
10+ people, then $10/ person applies.
So you can have up to 9 people for $75.

- Home Clearing / Alignment - A home clearing is helpful in cleansing the energy of a new home or to realign your current home. This starts with a drumming throughout the house that can include rattles (or anything that makes noise) and smudging with sage to break up the current energy. A full 30 minute bowl alignment follows to bring the energy of the home into balance.
Cost - $100 (approximately 1 hour...allow at least 1.5 hrs total time)

- Individual Session in Your Home - This is a session for one or two people in your own home. This is basically a private session that allows you to more fully integrate your energy with the bowls without others mixing their energy with yours. This does not include clearing the house using drums/rattles (there is about 5 minutes of drum to open the session for grounding, followed by CD music)
Cost - $100 (approximately 1 hour...allow at least 1.5 hrs total time)

 PayPal Payments and Refunds
Full refunds are available one week before scheduled session and for cancellation due to weather or other documentable events (death, lightning strikes, alien abduction, etc).
Less than one week refund, then a $25 fee incurs.
